Concept Plastics Inc. is Atlantic Canada’s leading manufacturer of plastic products for a wide variety of companies and industries.  Our main products are high quality acrylic displays and bulk food bins for the grocery industry, but we also manufacture chemical tanks, industrial linings, brochure holders and replacement parts for both industrial and medical equipment.  Recent investments in our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia facilities have allowed Concept Plastics to produce superior, custom-sized skylights, ranging from two to eight square-feet, to meet the needs of commercial and residential development contractors.

Concept Plastics was incorporated in 1992 when Wil Robertson and Bart Cooke were presented with a unique situation.  Both had been employed with Plastics Maritime Ltd., the largest plastics company in Atlantic Canada. At that time, Plastics Maritime Ltd. made a corporate decision to end its Custom Fabrication Division, which employed both Wil and Bart.

Facing the possibility of being unemployed and having a solid knowledge of the customer base and product line, Wil and Bart decided the timing was right to start Concept Plastics, and continue servicing the customers they were familiar with.

With the indirect support of Plastics Maritime Ltd. and the determination to be successful, Wil and Bart have enjoyed steady growth since the beginning.  Concept Plastics has diversified to become a leading custom plastics specialist not only in fabrication, but thermoforming and skylight manufacturing as well.

Although our primary market has been Eastern Canada, Concept Plastics Inc., has noted sales both nationally and internationally as well, our customers keep coming back.
